 Dania’s hand gestures make the piece come alive. The way rolls her head and uses her arms gives the audience a powerful sass. The small subtle movements of her eyes tell a story--she has an ardent desire to make it to Hollywood’s red carpet. This piece fits Mrs. Perez perfectly because viewers can immediately tell that this is her dream and she is running after it.  

The overall tone in her monologue is striking because of the yelling and impertinence, those watching become aware on what’s going on; problems with her boss and plans to become a big star one day. Her dark outfit compliments the message. This is a serious statement.  

A general word to describe this performance is calculated. Perez elaborates her feelings towards her boss and how he will regret losing it all one day. She makes the viewer’s seem as if she’s not amused with her current job and it’s time to move on to a better one; Perez thinks she is “too good” for her boss. Making it within the entertainment industry isn’t easy. Dania is confident that she will surpass Jennifer Lopez and outshine many other stars. She is assured that not only will she be at the top, but she will prove it to those who didn’t believe in her. 

This performance is very eye catching. It helps spectators understand that anyone can overcome their current situation if their heart so desires it. Dania proves to her audience that she is a fierce dramatic Latina actress.
