Gregorio Berchenko is a world-reknown sculptor born in Chile. In 1975, he obtained a fellowship in Sculpture in Metal in Belgrade. He preformed various specialized studies in France as well as in Chile, where he developed an extensive teaching career. Berchenko has also participated in the movement of “visual poetry” and “mail art”. His vibrant artwork reflects his preference for the abstract. He is currently living with his wife in Santiago and Chile’s countryside creating impassioned sculptures and inspiring students and countrymen alike.
